Minoxidil liquid or foam is an indirectly acting substance. For minoxidil to be sufficiently effective, it must be converted into its active form - minoxidil sulfate - by the sulfotransferase enzyme.
50% of people have low levels of this enzyme, which is why tretinoin should also be used alongside minoxidil. Tretinoin increases the enzyme's activity in the hair follicles and accelerates cell renewal.
Use once a day, preferably in the evening. Apply a small amount of tretinoin to the thinning areas, wait 10-15 minutes, and then apply minoxidil.
Please note that using tretinoin may cause skin irritation or dryness. Therefore, start with a small dose and amount.
